Proteins from natural rubber often react poorly to certain skin types, causing severe latex allergic reactions.
Offered are several different gum tubing sizes, from 3/32” to 3/8” ID and 5/32” to ½” OD. A "Tubing Size Chart" is provided, that helps the user determine inside diameter (hole size) and the wall thickness of tubing. Ideal use of the chart is with a transparency or a printer capable of printing on a transparency. To determine the inside diameter needed, align the hole in the tubing to the black dots on the chart, beginning at the top. Then locate the dot that best matches the hole. The fraction to the left of the dot is the size of the inside diameter.
To find the wall thickness of the tubing, start again from the top, find the wall gauge that best matches the wall of the tubing and record the fraction located on the left. This is the size of the wall thickness of the tubing.
