Polypropylene tubes can be centrifuged to 3000 RCF and polystyrene tubes will withstand 1500 RCF. (RCF; Relative Centrifugal Force, (G-Force) is not equivalent to RPM). Do not use RPM as an indicator of ma x imum acceptable spin rate.
All packaged sterile versions are sterilized with a validated and approved ISO 11137 method.
