Despite packing a 15.6" display, the SCAR II is nearly an inch narrower than its predecessor, making it easier to slip in your bag. ROG has carefully engineered the display for maximum performance in a minimal frame. This ROG-exclusive IPS-type panel design combines a blazing 144Hz refresh rate with a quick 3ms response time. The higher refresh rate enables a true 144-FPS experience with minimal input lag, while the faster response reduces ghosting and blurring to produce a clearer picture.
Full-System ASUS AURA RGB Lighting
Dim the lights, and watch AURA RGB lighting take center stage. We've amped up the RGB illumination even more with an additional light bar on the front edge and a more imposing ROG logo on the lid. Support for Aura Sync allows you to coordinate colors and effects across the laptop and compatible peripherals. Four fully translucent WASD keycaps make it easier to anchor your hand placement for FPS games through your peripheral vision, so you don't need to look down at your keyboard.
The GL504's integrated 802.11ac WiFi is based on Intel's latest Wave 2 solution, which is capable of greater than Gigabit speeds. The wireless card is hooked up to four antennas, a first for laptops. Our RangeBoost technology monitors these antennas to determine which ones have the best signal and then switches automatically to ensure that you're using the best pair for the conditions.
