The Vertiv Avocent Matrix MXT 5210 VGA transmitter is a component of the Vertiv Avocent Matrix High Performance KVM switching system that operates with receivers and transmitters to provide a fully digital matrix switching solution. A proprietary single switch or network of switches provides the distribution of data streams between transmitters and receivers, connected via a single shielded twisted pair (STP) CAT 5e/6 cable. The system provides real-time switching between keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) and USB peripherals from a target computer. The system may be used with devices intended to address digital signage and Pro A/V to deliver an enhanced digital matrix switching solution for applications such as broadcast, post-production and control centers in a broad range of applications. The Vertiv Avocent Matrix MXT 5210 transmitter provides one network port, one USB port and one VGA port for video resolution up to 1920x1200.
